This self-portrait was the first piece I created for my illustration class in 2016 and remains one of the art pieces of which I am still proud enough to keep in my portfolio. I used textures from some of my favorite clothes and pictures of the trees on my university campus. This time, I aimed to portray my bookworm side, giving myself a more introspective and intellectual look. At the time, wavy textures were all the rage in design and illustration, so, of course, I had to include them in my hair, which actually behaves like this in real life.
