What if the Glow Cloud (all hail) from Welcome to Night Vale had a daughter attending Monster High? Monster High, welcoming the children of every mythical creature, could provide an open space for the offspring of a deity from Night Vale. I had plenty of yarn fluff lying around and saw this as the perfect excuse to put it to use.
This character emerged from an improvised repaint of a Monster High doll (originally a Lagoonafire). I was particularly drawn to the doll's lizard body, so instead of modifying it, I incorporated it into the design. Eventually, I decided to paint her in my style, and here's the initial sketch along with the final result.
